A Caring Hand, Founded in Memory of Billy Esposito
The mission of ACH is to meet bereaved children and families wherever they are in their grief and fulfill their needs in a caring and knowledgeable environment through services to help them with their emotional journey,. This is accomplished with a comprehensive program of counseling, support, research, consultation, and crisis response. ACH is the only non-profit in Manhattan solely dedicated to helping grieving children, teens, and caregivers as well as all adults who care about and interact with grieving children. In 2008, ACH opened the only non-profit free-standing bereavement program in Manhattan. ACH continues to offer a community of support for children and families to insure that 1) they are not alone, 2) can meet others who understand, 3) have a place to learn healthy ways of coping, and 4) have an opportunity to share precious memories.
